Hello, I will like to make the currency sign shown on advertisements to be different from what I have selected as the site currency.

What I really want is to accept payments for upgrades and specials in USD while allowing users to list their products in a different currency so that on the advert what shows there is not $ but another currency like Pounds or Euros or any symbol I want.

Hello,

You can change the the Site Currency, on Settings -> Payment! Keep in mind that you have to use a currency that your payment gateway supports.

Please find more information here: https://docs.yclas.com/setup-payment-gateways/

Thanks Constantinos I know that but its not what I am asking for.

What I mean is that:

I want the site currency to be USD (I know how to do that)

But at the same time I want classified ads that have prices to be displayed in another currency.

Hope its clearer

Hello,

To change this you have to go to Settings -> General and change Money Format. More information here: http://docs.yclas.com/how-to-currency-format/

Hello Constantinos, I really appreciate your responses. Unfortunately the problem remains.

I have tried the process in the link you gave and was able to change the currency display in the ads to what I want. But it also changes the currency display for the whole site.

What I mean is this:

I was able to use the following notation $%!n to change the currency from the default currency but now it also changes the currency notation for the entire website.

So for example, the adverts show the currency I want which is ₦

But when I want to display the cost of featured post plans, instead of showing in dollars (which I want), it instead shows it in the new currency ₦ , instead of $

Really hope this makes sense.

Hello,

That's because there is an issue with the theme which we will fix as soon as possible. If you click to go to the checkout page, you will see the correct symbol.

Okay thanks guess I may just have to disable it and wait for it to be fixed.

But when you say as soon as possible is that like in few days or few weeks or few months or more (just wanna have an idea on how long we might have to wait LOL) Thanks
