Does Yclas  support implementation into third party platforms such as Wix?

We would like to implement Yclas classifieds using html code (or widget) to integreate into a client's wix website.

Thank you.

I would like to use yclas within the Wix platform (wix.com).

In other words, can yclas be integrated into third party website hosting platforms such as Wix? Ideally, by means of pasting html code or a using a widget into the third party platform.

Thanks.

Mmmm, not sure what wix.com can do, not a client, maybe you can contact them?

but you can integrate it in an iframe if thats what you mean?

So if wix.com allows you to put iframes you could add an iframe and point it to your URL yclas.com.

But that solution is not good at all. Best would be that you use a subdomain example:

Your main domain is: domain.com, then here in your header/menu you can place a link to

classifieds.domain.com that is your site on yclas.com

To do that you will need a paid plan that allows custom domains.

I think that will be the best way to integrate it also for SEO.

okay so I can build the classifieds in yclas, grab the iframe code and embed it into a third party html5 platform, yes?

Yes. But you need to have  a little knowledge of HTML.

I am not a programmer, but once the platform has been built in yclas is it relatively straightforward to extract the code to paste into a third party environment?

Do you provide documentation to that extend?

Thank you very much . I appreciate your great support.

Hello! sure no problem love to help ;)

You can not extract any code. not sure what you mean with that.

You get a URL like test.yclas.com or you can change it into a custom domain like domain.com or anythingelse.com

I will not use iframes to insert the url as told you earlier. Put a link in the header/menu to your classifieds site and ready! ;) more simple and much better.

That's great. What we need to achieve is to integrate the yclas service into a client's website so that visitors can browse classifieds without having to leave our client's domain. (No redirect)

Is that possible?

Thank you.

Yes with an iframe, but really not a good solution. Why cant leave to another subdomain? Dont understand the reason you wont like that...

Because of the look and feel of the website that would be different.

Is it possible to create multiple subdomains?

Hi Chema

We made a spelling mistake on the yclas url.

It currently spells http://sorfinysoshimura.yclas.com/

Instead it should read: http://sorfinyoshimura.yclas.com/

Can you help please?

Thank you.

Dear Chema

We have a new domain http://sycommunity.yclas.com/ which is currently being build out before upgrading to full package. I raised two support tickets this morning, but have not yet received a reply.

I recall you being very efficient and helpful - perhaps you can help address the below two rather urgent points?

1.) Appearance of categories

How can the appearance of categories using the current theme for above domain be customised?
Specifically, we would like to remove the large amount of spacing between the individual categories and use list or grid display.

2.) Homepage image customization

a. How can the main background image of the current theme be changed to display another image?

b. Also please confirm how the background colour of the search box on the homepage of the current theme can be changed to a ligher colour?

Thank you for your help Chema. I appreciate it.
