Hello Yclas Friends!
Today, we would like to announce a great release, full of new functionalities and fixed bugs!
IMPORTANT - Google Maps
To keep using Google Maps, you must follow the following steps:
Google Maps now requires an API key. Without this key, the static or live maps will not work on your site anymore. But don't worry! It's really easy to get one.
- Go to Panel -> Settings -> Advertisement -> Google Maps
- Set the Google maps API Key using this link. You will get 25,000 maps loaded for free.
- Add the key on your Panel & Click on save. You're good to go!
Live Translations
From now on, we will have live translations, to make it easier for you to translate or modify your site. Once you are logged in as Admin, you will find a new item called 'live translation'.
See the Gif below to understand better ;)
Robokassa
For a few months now, we have been working on entering the Russian market. The last step to do so was the introduction of Robokassa, a payment method that will let you receive payments from Russia easily. The integration is really simple and you do not need SSL to get it working ;)
More updates -
- Some fixes on premium themes
- HTML for blog posts, not bbcode
- Improved responsive/resized images

- Pin class/Yummo publish new - map
- No-reply option in automatic e-mails

2026 Update: Google Maps, Live Translation and Robokassa Today
All three features in this release are still part of Yclas, but the setup steps and some outside facts have changed since it was written.
Google Maps: new menu, new free limits
Maps still need your own Google API key. Enter it under Panel > Integrations > Google Maps, which replaces the old Settings > Advertisement path. The "25,000 free map loads" figure no longer applies. On 1 March 2025 Google replaced its $200 monthly credit with a separate free monthly allowance for each product. Yclas sites use the Maps JavaScript API (with the Places library for location search), and Static Maps on some pages such as seller profiles. Google's price list (checked October 2026) gives:
| Google product | Free each month | Price after that |
|---|---|---|
| Dynamic Maps (interactive map) | 10,000 loads | $7.00 per 1,000 |
| Static Maps (map image) | 10,000 loads | $2.00 per 1,000 |
| Places Autocomplete (per request) | 10,000 requests | $2.83 per 1,000 |
For a small marketplace this is usually free. A busy one should watch usage in the Google Cloud console. Google's security guidance warns that you are financially responsible for charges caused by abuse of an unrestricted key. Restrict your key to your site's domain (HTTP referrer restriction) and to the Maps APIs you use. It is also worth setting a budget alert in Google Cloud.
Live translation: still one click away
Admins, moderators and users with the translator role still see a Live translator section in their account menu on the site. Click Enable to edit text directly on the page. For bulk work, use Settings > Translations in the panel. According to the features page, Yclas supports 40+ languages, including right-to-left languages, and multilingual sites.
Robokassa: still available, but the market changed
Robokassa is still under Panel > Integrations > Robokassa (shop login, two passwords and a test mode). The market it serves has changed. On 5 March 2022 Visa suspended its operations in Russia, so Russian-issued Visa cards stopped working abroad and foreign Visa cards stopped working in Russia. Besides bank cards, Robokassa also lists Mir cards, SBP QR payments and Russian wallets such as SberPay and Yandex Pay, with fees from 1.8% on successful payments. Use it if your sellers and buyers are in Russia. Before you connect it, check which sanctions apply to your business, and run a payment in test mode first. For international buyers, the gateways on the features page, such as Stripe, PayPal and Mollie, are a better fit.
At Yclas, we continuously work to improve our services! If you have any doubts or questions about these new features, don't hesitate to get back to us!
Thank you for your support!
