Hello!
We have today 2 really sweet new features ;)
A new amazing dashboard, so you can see what is going on at your site. Within this, you can view your site's stats such as several ads, paid customers, orders, profits, visits, contacts within a day, month, and so on. All of this valuable information is now in our awesome panel; it's mobile-ready and easy to use ;)

Upload images directly from the text editor to your Pages, Emails, Blog posts, and FAQs. :D This will save you time, now you only need to drag and drop!
Keeping uploaded images fast: what 2025 web data says
Drag-and-drop upload makes adding images to your pages, blog posts and FAQs easy. It also makes it easy to slow a page down. Images are now the main factor in how fast a page feels, and Google measures that.
Why image size matters for SEO
Google's Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) measures how long the biggest visible element takes to appear. Google's web.dev guidance rates LCP as good at 2.5 seconds or less, needing improvement up to 4 seconds and poor above that, measured at the 75th percentile of visits. According to the HTTP Archive Web Almanac 2025:
| Metric (2025 Web Almanac) | Mobile | Desktop |
|---|---|---|
| Pages where the LCP element is an image | 76% | 85.3% |
| Pages with a good LCP | 62% | 74% |
| Sites passing all Core Web Vitals | 48% | 56% |
So on most pages the largest thing on screen is an image, and more than a third of mobile pages still load it too slowly. A large photo at the top of an "About us" or "How it works" page is usually what decides that page's score.
What Yclas already does for you
When you upload an image in the editor, Yclas checks it against your image settings. On a new site the defaults are: JPG, PNG and WebP allowed, a 5 MB maximum per file, and images resized to your configured width (1,200 pixels by default) and saved at 90% quality before they are stored. You can change these limits in your image settings. Keep the width close to how wide your page content actually displays.
A quick checklist before you upload
- Prefer WebP for photos. It is allowed by default and is usually much smaller than the same image saved as PNG.
- Use PNG only for screenshots, logos or graphics with text, where sharp edges matter.
- Crop before you upload. A phone photo of several megabytes is wasted bytes if the page only shows a small part of it.
- One hero image per page is enough. It is almost certainly your LCP element, so keep it light.
- Write a short description in the image attributes. It helps screen readers and image search.
Once your pages are live, compare their visits in the Dashboard (or Google Analytics, if you have connected it) before and after you trim heavy images. Faster pages tend to keep more of the visitors that search sends you.
