Hi friends!
Today we will cover the top classified sites in Finland. After doing some research we came up with the ones below. As you see there are quite a few! The most famous one is tori. fi where you can buy or sell anything you want. Another interesting classifieds website is huuto.net, especially focused on auctions which is a very good idea as well.

Buying and Selling in Finland in 2026: Who Runs the Sites, Tax Rules and Scams
Finland's online classifieds market has consolidated since this list was first published. Here is how things stand in 2026 and what to know before you post.
Fewer, bigger players
- Tori and Oikotie now share an owner. Schibsted bought Oikotie from Sanoma in July 2020 for an enterprise value of EUR 185 million. At the time, Tori and Oikotie together had over 44 million monthly visits, and Oikotie was No. 1 in Finnish job ads (Vend press release). Schibsted's marketplaces were separated from its media business in 2024 and renamed Vend Marketplaces in 2025, the same group that runs FINN and Blocket.
- Tori launched in December 2009, based on Sweden's Blocket. According to Finnish Wikipedia, it handles nearly 20,000 transactions a day and added strong electronic identification in April 2023. Furniture and cars/parts are its most popular categories.
- Huuto.net was sold by Sanoma Media Finland to ePrice Oy, together with the price-comparison site Hintaseuranta.fi (Neuvoa Advisors).
- Jobs: since 1 January 2025, public employment services have moved from the state TE offices to 45 municipal employment areas. The national Job Market Finland service (tyomarkkinatori.fi) remains in use for job seekers and employers, alongside private boards such as Oikotie.
Several smaller international directories have disappeared: in October 2026 finland.gumpul.com showed only a parked-domain page and fi.bizzyo.com did not load.
Taxes: when the tax office hears about your sales
| Rule | What it means |
|---|---|
| Household goods exemption | Selling ordinary household goods that you or your family have used is tax-free as long as the profit stays below EUR 5,000 per tax year. |
| DAC7 platform reporting (since 2023) | A platform reports your sales to the tax office if you sell at least 30 items on it in a calendar year, or if your total sales exceed EUR 2,000. |
Source: Finnish Tax Administration (Vero). Being reported does not by itself mean you owe tax, but any taxable income still has to go on your tax return.
The scam to watch for
In its weekly review of 31 January 2025, the National Cyber Security Centre Finland described fake buyers on Tori and Facebook Marketplace who talk sellers into installing a "delivery app" from a page made to look like an app store. The app is malware that takes over Android phones, and criminals had stolen about EUR 450,000 this way. Install apps only from your phone's official store, never from a link a buyer sends you, and be wary of anyone claiming to arrange delivery through Posti or Matkahuolto on your behalf. If you have been caught, contact your bank immediately and report it to the police.
