Trial and billing
What happens when my free trial ends?
Pick a plan to keep your site online. If you don't, the site is paused and you can come back and choose a plan within 30 days without losing anything.
How do renewals work?
Plans renew automatically the day before they expire, with the payment method you used first, at the plan's regular price. If a payment doesn't go through, we email you so nothing is lost.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, from My sites in your account. Nothing renews after that.
Do you give refunds?
Yes. Every plan has a 30-day money-back guarantee: if you're not happy, ask for a full refund within 30 days of paying. Custom design and development work isn't covered.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Choose a new plan from your account and it takes effect straight away. The days left on your current plan carry over, converted at the new plan's price.
Which currencies and taxes?
Prices are in US dollars. If you're in the EU we add VAT, unless you're a VAT-registered business and add your VAT number to your profile.
Your site
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on every paid plan, with SSL included. Your site starts at yourname.yclas.com and you can connect yourname.com whenever you're ready.
Will my site show up on Google?
Yes, once you choose a plan. During the free trial your site is hidden from search engines, so only people you share it with will find it, and links posted in its listings are marked as user content for search engines (nofollow), so they don't pass search ranking.
What happens if I reach my listing limit?
We email you at 90% so you can tidy up old listings or move to a bigger plan. Nothing is deleted.
Can I get my data or files?
Yclas is a hosted service, so there's no direct database, code or FTP access. Every plan includes the REST API, and Professional and Marketplace add webhooks and custom code sections.
What can I sell on Yclas?
Anything legal in the United States. We don't host scams, pyramid schemes, explicit sexual content or drugs.
