Auto parts marketplace software for breakers, shops and private sellers.

Yclas is auto parts marketplace software for a site where salvage yards, parts shops and hobbyists list engines, gearboxes, panels, wheels and trim. Each part says which make, model and years it fits and carries its part number, and on paid plans buyers can pay at checkout instead of arranging it by message.

Who sells parts

An auto parts marketplace has three kinds of seller.

Each one lists differently, so the site has to suit all three without slowing the others down.

Breakers and salvage yardsHundreds of used parts from each car they strip, uploaded in bulk and sold from a yard page.
Parts shopsNew and reconditioned parts with stock counts, shipped to the buyer.
EnthusiastsThe odd set of wheels, a spare gearbox or rare trim for a classic, posted from a phone.

The store screens show bikes on Hometown; a parts site uses the same pages with its own categories. Storefronts, options and the cart across sellers are on the Marketplace plan.

What it fits Every plan

Fitment by make, model and year, with honest limits.

Switch on the vehicle catalogue and assign its Make, Model and Year fields to your parts categories: the seller picks the vehicle the part came from or fits, and buyers filter by their own car. That covers most used parts from a breaker. It is one vehicle per listing, though: Yclas has no fitment database such as ACES, so a part that fits twelve models says so in the description.

  • 104 makes with their models, from Toyota and Ford to Scania and Harley-Davidson.
  • Years from 1980, and you can add older ones to the list for classic parts.
  • Your own fields: engine code, side (left or right), position (front or rear), colour code.

Part numbers Every plan · AI search on paid plans

Buyers who know the OE number find the part.

Mechanics search by number, not by name. Add a Part number field and ask sellers to put the number in the title too, so keyword search finds "1K0 615 301" whichever way it was typed. Condition as a list (new, used, reconditioned, for repair) and a warranty field answer the next two questions.

  • AI search on paid plans reads "front brake discs for a 2015 Golf under $80" and maps it to your fields.
  • Saved searches tell a buyer when the part they need is listed.

Selling online Professional for checkout · Marketplace for the cart and commission

Parts are small enough to buy now and ship.

Unlike cars, most parts can be paid for online and posted. On Professional, sellers add a stock count and a Buy now button, and the site handles the order. On Marketplace, buyers fill one cart from several yards and pay once, shipping rates are set per seller, and you take a commission on every sale.

  • Stock that runs down as parts sell.
  • Returns and disputes: the buyer reports a problem and you decide.
  • Escrow on the Marketplace plan: the money is held until the part arrives.

Breakers and yards Business accounts: Professional plan and up

A yard page with every part from every car.

Business accounts get a page with all their parts and a Business badge on each listing; on the Marketplace plan it becomes a storefront with a banner, policies and its own search. A yard that strips a car can list its parts from a spreadsheet: you import the CSV in the admin, check the dry run and publish.

  • Memberships for yards and shops that list hundreds of parts.
  • Team members on a store, on the Marketplace plan, to list and ship.

Questions

Auto parts marketplace software FAQ

Part of:

What does auto parts marketplace software need to do?

Let sellers say which vehicles a part fits, let buyers search by their vehicle and by part number, and handle stock, shipping and payment for parts that sell online. Yclas does the first two with the vehicle catalogue and your own fields, and the rest with checkout on paid plans.

Does the auto parts marketplace software include a fitment database?

No. Each listing can name one make, model and year from the catalogue, plus anything you add in the description. There is no ACES or ePID fitment table.

Can buyers pay online?

Yes, from the Professional plan, with stock counts and Buy now. One cart across several sellers, shipping rates per seller and your commission need Marketplace.

Can a breaker upload hundreds of parts?

Yes. You import their CSV from the admin with a dry run first. Business accounts give them a store page with all their parts.

Can I take a commission on each part?

Yes, on the Marketplace plan, by category or by seller. Yclas itself takes none.

Can I run cars and parts on one site?

Yes. Driveline, the demo here, has a Parts category next to cars, vans and motorbikes.
