Classic car marketplace software for cars with a story.
Yclas is classic car marketplace software for collector, vintage and youngtimer cars, sold by private owners, specialist dealers and clubs. Listings carry the details collectors read first, the chassis number, matching numbers, restoration and history, with up to 30 photos, and rare cars can go to a timed auction instead of a fixed price.

A classic car marketplace is a community first.
Collectors buy from people they trust, read every line, and come back for parts, events and the next car. The site has to respect that.

Chassis number, matching numbers and restoration level.
The Vehicles pack gives you make, model, year and mileage; classics need more. Add your own fields in Custom fields, limited to the Classic cars category if you sell modern cars too.
- Chassis or frame number: VIN decoding only reads 17-character VINs, which most cars built before 1981 do not have.
- Condition as a list collectors know: concours, excellent, restored, driver, project.
- Matching numbers, left or right-hand drive, documented history and last restored.
- Years before 1980: the built-in Year list starts at 1980, so add older years to it, or use your own year field.

Let a rare car find its price in an auction.
Some cars have no fair price until collectors bid. On Professional, a seller can list a car as a timed auction instead of a fixed price: a starting price, an optional reserve that bidders only see as met or not met, an optional buy-now price, and an end time from one hour to 90 days away.
- Proxy bidding: bidders set their maximum and the site bids for them, one step at a time.
- Anti-sniping: a late bid pushes the end back, five minutes by default.
- Verified bidders only, if you choose.

Make membership worth paying for.
A membership plan has a price, a length (a year, say) and a number of listings, so a club can charge members once a year and let them post their cars within that allowance. Non-members can pay per listing in the categories you choose. A blog for club news and pages for events run on the same site.
- Wanted ads: a Wanted category for the part or car a member has hunted for years.
- Saved searches that email a member when a 1960s Alfa Romeo Spider is listed.

What a classic car marketplace gets.
On every plan unless it says otherwise. Auctions, dealer accounts and memberships need Professional; 30 photos per car need Marketplace.

What should classic car marketplace software include?
Room for detail (chassis number, originality, restoration and history), many photos, search by make and decade, and ways to sell rare cars, such as offers and timed auctions. Yclas has these, with your own fields for the classic details.
Can I run timed auctions on my classic car marketplace?
Yes, on Professional and up with the Nova theme: starting price, optional reserve and buy-now price, proxy bidding and anti-sniping. Live or phone bidding is not included.
Does VIN decoding work for old cars?
Only for 17-character VINs, used since 1981. For older cars add a Chassis number field instead.
Does the price label work for classics?
It needs at least five similar cars of the same make and model within two model years, which is rare for classics. You can switch it off in Settings.
Can the year list go back before 1980?
Yes. Add the older years to the Year field in Custom fields, or use your own year field.
How many photos can a car have?
5 on Starter, 20 on Professional and 30 on Marketplace.
