Four jobs, all handled on one platform.
A classifieds site lives or dies on the same few things: posting is quick, buyers find what they want, people can talk safely, and spam stays out. Each one is a part of Yclas you switch on, with no plugin to find or update.
One classifieds site, page by page.
Real screenshots of demo sites made with Yclas. The sellers and their listings are made up; the pages are the real product.

Your categories, your fields, your rules.
Create the categories and locations your market needs, then add fields to them: text, numbers, dropdowns, checkboxes, dates. Each field can be required, shown in search and used as a filter. Listings carry photos, a price, a location and an expiry date, and sellers can renew, edit, mark sold or delete them.
- Ready-made field packs for cars, property and equipment, switched on in Settings.
- Expiry and renewal so old listings leave by themselves.
- Import listings from a spreadsheet or move in from another site.

Buyers find it in seconds, on any screen.
Keyword search, categories and locations, filters on every field you made, sort by price or date, and a map. Buyers save a search and hear about new matches by email or push. AI search understands plain sentences like "a red bike for a 10 year old under $150".
- Map search with OpenStreetMap, or Google Maps with your own key.
- Saved searches with instant or daily alerts.
- AI search: 500 to 2,000 searches a month, by plan.

Charge for what sellers value, keep all of it.
Free posting grows a site; paid extras pay for it. Sell featured listings, bumps to the top, packages of boosts, paid posting in chosen categories, seller memberships and banner space. Payments go through your own Stripe or PayPal account, and Yclas takes no cut.
- Featured and bump, priced per category and duration.
- Memberships for dealers and shops who post a lot, on Professional.
- Marketplace plan: Buy now, a cart for several sellers and your commission on each sale.

Spam stays out. Good sellers stand out.
Choose how new listings go live: straight away, after your approval, after email confirmation or after payment. Visitors report listings and conversations, and your team works through one queue. Banned words, a blacklist, reCAPTCHA and Akismet stop most spam, and reviews show who is worth buying from.
- AI moderation holds suspicious listings for you; nothing is deleted on its own.
- Safety tips in the chat when a message looks like a known scam.

A look made for your market.
Start from a template made for your kind of site, then change colours, fonts and sections in the visual editor. The AI page builder makes changes you describe in a sentence. The site works on phones and installs on the home screen like an app.
- 109 looks for cars, property, local trade, rentals and more.
- Your own domain with SSL, and no Yclas branding on paid plans.

Every listing is a page search engines understand.
Clean URLs, titles and descriptions for each category, location and listing, a sitemap that updates itself, structured data for listings, and fast pages. New listings are announced to search engines that support IndexNow, so they are found sooner.
- Redirects and a 404 report when you move from another site.
- SEO health check in the admin.

Classifieds software comes in two kinds.
A script you install on your own server, or a hosted platform like Yclas. Both can make a good site; they ask different things of you.
| What you need | A script on your own server | Yclas, hosted |
|---|---|---|
| Server and hosting | You rent, set up and secure it | Included |
| Updates and security fixes | You install them, and test your changes still work | Applied for you |
| Backups | You set them up | Included, run for you |
| SSL and your domain | You configure them | Included, connected from your admin |
| Changing the code | Anything, if you can code it | Design, fields and custom code sections; no server access |
| Cost in year one | Licence or free, plus hosting, theme, plugins and your time | From $19 a month, all included |
| Support | Forums, or paid tickets | Our team, by chat and ticket |
If you need full control of the code and have a developer, a script can be the better choice: see our page on open source classifieds.

Classifieds software FAQ
What is classifieds software?
Software that runs a website where people post listings to sell, rent or offer something, and others search them and get in touch. It handles the listings and their fields, search, user accounts, messages, payments for paid extras, moderation and SEO.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Yclas is hosted: you sign up, pick a template and your site is online. We run the servers, apply updates and keep backups.
How much does it cost?
Starter is $19 a month for up to 5,000 listings, Professional is $99 and Marketplace is $149. Every plan starts with a free 15-day trial and no credit card.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Connect your domain from your admin; SSL is included. Paid plans show no Yclas branding.
Can I charge for listings?
Yes. Charge to post in chosen categories, sell featured listings, bumps and boost packages, and offer memberships. Money goes to your own Stripe or PayPal account.
Does Yclas take a commission?
No. Yclas charges the plan price only. On the Marketplace plan you can take your own commission on sales made on your site.
Can I move my existing site?
Yes. Import listings and users from a spreadsheet, or from an Osclass, Flynax, LaraClassifier or WordPress export. Redirects keep your old links working.
Is it good for a niche?
Yes. Field packs and templates exist for the common niches, such as cars, property and equipment, and any other niche gets its own categories and fields in a few minutes.
Can I see it before I sign up?
Yes. The screenshots on this page are real demo sites, and the free trial gives you a full site to try.
