Who posts on a property classifieds site

Real estate classifieds are not only for agents.

Classifieds grow because anyone can post. Owners selling without an agent, landlords with one flat, people letting a room and agencies with fifty listings all sit side by side.

For sale by owner Property pack · every plan

A listing form a private owner can finish.

Owners do not know which details matter until they are asked. The Property pack turns your fields into a clear block of key facts: type, sale or rent, bedrooms, bathrooms, size, plot, floor, year built, energy rating, furnished, parking and available from. Up to six floor plans sit apart from the photos.

  • AI photo check on Nova names the room in each photo, picks a cover and flags dark or blurry shots.
  • Square metres or feet, and price per area worked out for each home.
  • Monthly costs: a mortgage estimate for a sale, or rent plus fees for a let.

Feeds and CSV files, not an MLS connection.

Yclas does not connect to an MLS or offer IDX. Agencies send listings the way portals outside the MLS world usually get them: a Kyero or XML feed from their software, or a CSV file. You run the import from the admin; running it again updates each property by its reference and takes down sold, let or withdrawn ones.

  • Up to 20,000 properties per import, with up to 50 photos each.
  • Categories matched and sizes converted to your units.
  • CSV with a dry run and undo, for agencies without a feed.

Rank for "2 bedroom flats to rent in Exeter".

Yclas builds a page for each property type and deal, bedroom count and area with at least three live listings, with an intro giving the count and price range. They go into your sitemap with structured data, and pages with fewer listings do not exist until there are enough.

  • Up to 5,000 pages in the sitemap, refreshed every hour.
  • Hreflang when the site runs in several languages.

Classifieds or an IDX website

Two ways to put property online.

An IDX website shows MLS listings on one agent's site. Real estate classifieds software runs an open marketplace that anyone can post on. Pick the one that matches your market.

Part of:

What is real estate classifieds software?

Software for a website where owners, landlords and agents list property for sale or rent and people search it by type, price, bedrooms and place. It runs the listings, search, map, accounts, messages, payments for paid extras and SEO.

Does the real estate classifieds software connect to the MLS?

No. There is no MLS or IDX connection. Agencies import listings from a Kyero or XML feed or a CSV file, and owners post directly.

Can private owners list for free?

Yes. Set prices per category: free for rooms and private lets, paid for homes for sale, or free for owners and paid memberships for agents.

Can I run sales and rentals on one site?

Yes. Sale or rent comes from a field or the category. Rentals show rent and price per area per month, and search and the map filter by deal.

Can buyers book viewings?

Yes. They pick a 30-minute slot in person or by video up to 60 days ahead, or propose their own time. The owner or agent accepts or declines and both get an email.

What does it cost?

From $19 a month on Starter. Agency pages need business accounts, on Professional ($99) and up. Every plan has a 15-day free trial.

Does it work in square metres and other languages?

Yes. Choose square metres or feet, and run the site in one or several of more than 40 languages.
