Pick a country or a city the big sites left behind.
OLX has closed or sold its sites in several countries over the years, and in many others the big classifieds site is far away, in the wrong language or full of dealers. That leaves room. A site in Swahili, Tagalog, Amharic or Arabic for one country, or a site for one big city with its own neighbourhoods, can feel more local than any global brand.

A seller takes a photo and the AI suggests the title, description, category and a price, in your site's language. They check it and post. Without AI it is still one short form that works on a small screen.

Is it legal to build a website like OLX?
Yes. A national classifieds site is a common, legal business. You may not use the OLX name, logo, colours, app design, text or listings, or suggest that your site is part of OLX. Pick a name of your own.

Can the site be in my language?

Is there an Android app?
Not on Google Play. On Android, visitors add the site to their home screen from Chrome, where it opens full screen and gets push notifications like an app.
Can buyers contact sellers on WhatsApp?
Yes, once you switch on the WhatsApp button in Settings. It stays off until you do, because it changes what visitors see on every listing.
Which payment providers work in my country?
Stripe and PayPal work in most countries, and Yclas also connects Mercado Pago, Razorpay, PayFast, PayTabs, Mollie and other regional providers. Money goes to your account, not ours.
