A Kijiji clone for your country, one city at a time.
A Kijiji clone is a national free classifieds site with everything from sofas to cars to flats, and Yclas lets you build one in one or two languages. Start in one city, add the next when the first is busy, and give cars and property the fields buyers expect.

The national boards each won one country.
Kijiji, Swahili for "village", launched in Canada in 2005. Leboncoin did the same for France from 2006 and Avito for Russia from 2007. Each became the default place to sell something in one country.
Launch your Kijiji clone in one city first.
A national site with ten listings per city looks dead in every city. Set up all your regions and cities from the start, so the structure is ready, but promote one city until its main categories fill a page every day. Then move to the next city with what you learned.
Import your country's places in one go, from 90 countries or GeoNames, and each location gets its own page and search. Buyers can search their city or the whole country.
| Stage | What to do |
|---|---|
| Month 1 | All regions and cities imported. One city promoted. Ten general categories. |
| Months 2 to 4 | Cars with the Vehicles pack, flats with your own rent fields. First dealers. |
| Months 4 to 6 | The second and third city. Boost packages and dealer plans switched on. |
| After that | A second language, agencies with feeds, banners sold city by city. |
English and French, or any two you need.
From Professional a site can be multilingual: visitors switch in the footer, categories, locations and fields have a name in each language, and search engines get the right version. AI translates listing titles and descriptions, labelled, with "Show original".
- Listing translations: 750 a month on Professional, 1,500 on Marketplace.
- Right to left for Arabic and Hebrew sites.
Cars and flats with the fields buyers filter on.
Every category can have its own fields, so a car asks for make, model, year and mileage while a flat asks for rooms, size and rent. Switch on the Vehicles pack for the make and model catalogue, and add your own fields for property.
- Specs block on each listing, built from its fields.
- Business accounts for dealers and agents, with their own page.
Free to post, paid to stand out.
National boards earn from upgrades: top ads, highlights and bumps. Yclas has up to three boost packages, featured days, bring to top, Urgent and Highlight labels and home page Spotlight places, offered to sellers right after posting.

Is it legal to build a Kijiji clone?
Yes. A national classifieds site is a legal business in Canada and elsewhere. You may not use the Kijiji name or logo, or copy its pages or listings. The same applies to Avito and Leboncoin.
Can I build an Avito clone or a Leboncoin clone the same way?
Yes. The steps are the same: one country, its language, city pages, general categories, and verticals with their own fields. Yclas has Russian and French among its 40+ languages.
Can the site be in English and French?
Yes, from Professional. Visitors switch language, and listings can be translated by AI and labelled as translations.
What does it cost?
Starter is $19 a month for up to 5,000 listings, Professional is $99 for up to 100,000 listings and Marketplace is $149 for up to 300,000 listings. 15-day free trial.
How many listings can a national site hold?
Up to 300,000 live listings on Marketplace. Expired listings leave by themselves, so the count stays near what is for sale now.
Can buyers search the whole country?
Yes. Buyers pick their city, a region, or no location at all, and sort by date, price or distance.
Can I import listings from my old site?
Yes, from a spreadsheet or from other scripts such as Osclass, with redirects so old links keep working.
