A Thumbtack clone that sends jobs to local pros.
A Thumbtack clone is a local services marketplace where customers describe a job once and nearby pros reply with quotes. Yclas runs it as a directory of businesses with quote requests sent to up to five pros, leads they pay for if you choose, reviews and badges, on your own domain.
Free for 15 days · No credit card · Plans from $19 a month

These sites sell customers to pros.
Thumbtack, founded in 2008, asks customers a few questions about a job and sends them to pros who want the work. Angi began in 1995 as Angie's List, a members' list of reviewed contractors. Both earn from the pros, not the customers.
Start your Thumbtack clone with ten trades.
Customers arrive with a job to get done, so begin with the trades people search for every week in your area: plumbers, electricians, cleaners, gardeners, painters, movers, handymen, roofers, locksmiths and HVAC. Import the businesses from a CSV file or from Google Places with your own key, then ask them to claim their pages.
Keep leads free for the first months. Pros only pay once they have seen jobs arrive, and the leads page shows them what came in and how each was billed.
| Part | Launch with it | Add it later |
|---|---|---|
| Pros | Imported businesses with hours and a map pin | Claims, branches, contact tracking |
| Jobs | Quote requests to one pro or up to five nearby | Paid leads, credits in pro plans |
| Trust | Reviews with replies | Licensed and Insured badges, review invitations |
| Money | Free | Sponsored places, banners, featured pros |
One request, up to five pros nearby.
A customer asks one business for a quote, or describes the job once and says where. The request goes to up to five businesses in that category, within 50 km by default, and every lead lands on your Leads page with how it was billed. Each business page shows how fast the pro usually replies.
- Charge for leads if you like: free, a credit from the pro's plan, or pay per lead to see the contact details.
- Protected by limits per address and per email, and a bot check.

Licensed and Insured badges your team has checked.
Your team checks a pro's licence or insurance documents and marks the page Licensed or Insured, for a year. Customers can compare up to four pros side by side on rating, location and attributes.
- No background checks: the badges mean your team saw the documents, nothing more.

Pros see what your site sends them.
Once a pro claims their page, they see calls, website visits, WhatsApp taps, directions and messages, and the searches they appeared in, over 7, 30 or 90 days. That report is what makes a paid plan easy to sell.

The customer describes the job and where. The request goes to up to five businesses in that category within 50 km by default, and each lead is listed with how it was billed.
Can pros pay per lead?
Yes. Leads can be free, use a credit from the pro's plan, or be paid one by one to see the contact details.
Does it run background checks?

What does it cost?
Starter is $19 a month and Professional is $99. Directory mode and leads are on every plan; some extras need the Nova theme. 15-day free trial.
Can customers book a pro?
Yes, from Professional, if the pro sets opening hours and sessions. Paid bookings with deposits are on the Marketplace plan.
Is it different from a Fiverr clone?
Yes. Here pros work locally and customers ask for quotes. For freelancers selling services online at fixed prices, see the Fiverr clone page.
