Member directory software for associations and clubs.
Yclas is member directory software for associations, guilds, networks and clubs whose members are businesses or practitioners. Each member gets a page they update themselves, new members wait for your approval, and the whole directory can be public or for signed-in members only.

Groups whose members want to be found.
Yclas fits members who have something to list: a practice, a studio, a shop, a service. For a private list of people and their phone numbers, a membership system is the better tool.
Member pages, search and approvals.

Open to the public, or to signed-in members only.
Most associations want a public "find a member" directory, because it brings members work. If yours is only for members, switch on Private site: visitors who are not signed in see one page of your choosing, such as how to join, instead of the directory.
- Private site covers the whole site; there is no public part beside a private part.
- Search engines can be asked not to list the site while you set it up.
- Moderation: new pages can wait for your approval before they go live.

New members wait for your approval.
On Professional, create your own account types, such as Member, Associate and Supporter, each with its own rights and an approval step. A pending member can browse but cannot post a listing until you approve them, and they get an email either way. User fields can be asked of one type only, such as a membership number.
- Verified badges for members whose ID or business document you have checked.
- Posting rights per type: post, sell, message, take bookings.

Pages members keep up to date themselves.
Each member page has the contact details, opening hours, services with prices, social links, photos and a map. Add your own fields, such as specialties, languages, accreditation year or areas covered, and make them search filters. Members edit their page from their account; imported pages can be claimed by email.
- Up to 20 locations per member on Nova.
- Events with dates and venues, if members run courses or open days.

Charge for membership on the site, if you want to.
Memberships on Professional are paid plans with a length in days, so a yearly membership is a 365-day plan. Members pay into your own Stripe or PayPal account. You can also keep membership outside the site and only approve members who have paid you.
- Featured listings for members who want more visibility.
- No commission to Yclas on anything members pay.

Yclas does not send dues invoices, track attendance or replace a member management system.

What is member directory software?
Software that publishes a searchable list of an organisation's members, with a page per member and tools for members to keep it current. Yclas suits members who run a business or practice.
Can the association directory website be for members only?
Yes. With Private site on, only signed-in users see the site, and everyone else sees one page you choose. It applies to the whole site.
Can we approve new members before they appear?
Yes, on Professional: an account type can need your approval, and until then the member cannot post.
Can members pay their membership on the site?
Yes, with paid memberships on Professional, into your own Stripe or PayPal account. Yclas takes no commission.
Is it a membership management system?
No. It does not send dues invoices, track attendance or hold a member CRM. Many associations keep their membership system and use Yclas for the public directory.
Can we import our existing member list?
Yes, from a CSV file. Members then claim their pages by email.
Can a directory list people rather than businesses?
It can, as a page per member with your own fields. Think about what members agree to show publicly, and use Private site if the list should stay inside the organisation.
